i totally agree, that would look hot, BUT you would have to use the type-S bumper to achieve that look IMO. the stock TL bumper cutouts are too small for that.

The funny thing is, those pieces arent even connected to the LS's exhaust....theyre just part of the bumper.

The Porsche tips are growing on me. If the Porsche tips are easier to manufacture than the square tips how soon could they be available?

Yeah, the whole point of the base exhaust for it to just bolt right up. Would still be interesting to see what it looks like with square tips that fill the existing cutout.

Maybe something like this for the shape of the square tip? If I had some decent photoshop skills I'm sure this would look much better.

Round

Why not just do single round tips. I know it may look like every other set, but If you can keep the same sound as the Quads, it would definitely set the ATLP apart.

I love the sound of that quad, but am still hesitant to trim my RJ bumper.

Not feeling the P Style anymore. Square shape would be much better and probably easier to manufacture.

Mike, I have a question. Are you pushing the Porsce tips because you like them, or because we like them? It seems more people want a variant of the stock tips. I thought you said so yourself that a lot of people aren't feeling this Porsche setup (with me being one). So since there are a LOT of people that want the stock tip variant base setup, why isn't more time being spent on that one, than one that you KNOW people don't like?

Towards the end of the other thread, people started bringing up the porsche style tips again and showed interest. I made this thread in order to gauge the seriousness of pursuing it, but it seems like more people are posting in here with their square tip ideas. We got the other thread for that!

Trust me, this isn't a replacement for the square tip guys! It's just another option. I'm still going to be working on a square tip, and I do apologize for the lack of progress. I will be swapping bumpers with someone to a base TL again, so things should start picking up!
