Post Exhaust for Type-S

Okay, I know theres a lot of threads out about exhaust but I cant find what im looking for. I just got a 2008 NBP Type-S and im looking to add exhaust to it, but something that doesnt put a hole in my pocket. I'd also like to keep the quad tips. Any help?

what is your budget like?
you can check out the black market here, people sell used ones all the time (atlp,xlr8,etc)...or you can have a shop custom make one for you. just get some magnflow quad tips and have them do the piping, sometimes it is actually cheaper that way bc you're not paying a premium for a nametag, just the materials/labor supplied.

catayltic converter? you already have one of those stock on your jpipe (jpipe is the pipe that connects before your exhaust), so you don't need that.

just do some research in this section, if you spend enough time reading through some threads...you'll learn a lot.

it wouldn't do anything. your stock one doesn't do anything but control automotive emissions (which you don't even need)

The idea is to get rid of the cats, not to buy more. I'd recommend getting a new j-pipe. That way you're upgrading the exhaust, power, and sound without loosing them beautiful tips. And it fits your budget nicely too.

Heyy.. I recently bought an xlr8 quad catback exhaust off of the black market here on acurazine. I traded my stock exhaust for his almost brand new exhaust plus 250 dollars. It was a great deal! Much better than buying brand new for $1200 dollar good luck

yea do lots of research on this site... you can do simple mods from mid muffler and resonator deletes on your current set up or you can buy an entire new cat back set up... i also have the XLR8 quad set up sounds great but it did cost me around $1100 new which included freight

sounds mean and looks quality nice polish canisters and tips with logo etched
