Exhaust System Upgrade tips

Hello fellow Aziners! I have a little project coming along and I need some help before I drop some serious dough. So over the past 4 months I've been able to gather aspec spoilers. So far i have the front lip and trunk lid spoiler. Im ordering the skirts and rear aspec spoiler from Heeltoe Auto within the next week. As the title states, I want to upgrade my exhaust system along the way as well.
This is pohljm's tl that i came across the other day. He managed somehow to put quads on the aspec rear

My build will replicate this. Now here's the kicker. If I want to upgrade my exhaust system entirely I don't know where to start. I went onto SoCal Autosports and found the muff tips that I need. The inlet is 2.5" and I got a buddy who is a welder and he said he'd weld the tips on for me.
Any input in any way would help. Please, no dissing or smart remarks. Yes i am still kind of new at this. Ive been using this diagram from google to guide me somewhat.

Why don't you just get a catback system that went through the R&D process?

Actually, can you explain. I'm not too familiar with r&d systems.

Research and Development, i.e. buy a finished product you're confident has been tested and put together well, where install is simply bolting it to the car.

These companies that are respectable name brands have already done the testing and research on developing a cat back system that works and sounds good.

endlessrpm

all have designed and manufactured good exhaust systems for our car. Just buy one of theirs and you don't have to worry about anything. All sound great. Look up some clips on YouTube too!!

i personally have and love the xlr8 one

Do the J-pipe first. Cheaper than a cat back and bigger gains.

Much Appreciation

Thanks a bunch Aziners!!! I will take everything into consideration. The j pipe that I was looking off heeltoe deletes the third cat. Then from there I debating whether or not to go resonated or non.

The OBX catback system is an underrated product. It stacks up to the more expensive options.
