Exhaust sound from inside

Hi,

I am thinking of doing an exhaust revamp. Maybe atop quad with j pipe. I've heard videos of interior, but not sure how Accurate that is.

For those of you who have such mods, about how many times louder than stock from the inside. I ask this because I still want to enjoy music and use mt blue tooth for the phone to talk.

Thank you.

There is the regular exhaust sound and the drone you'll have to deal with.

I just had my done, magnaflow 11365 mufflers, mid muffler delete and a magnaflow resonator. Louder deeper tone outside but in-cabin drone with acceleration. Just had it done yesterday so waiting for things to settle down before I decide to deal with the drone.

check out my pcd vids. It does not sound too bad but I have a little rasp at 2500 rpms. Still can hear music and talk.

Probably any removal of the stock resonator or mid muffler is going to result in more cabin noise. I first installed a full catback with a 12" Dynomax resonator with two magnaflow mufflers and the drone was unreal. I replaced the 12" with a 30" X 6" muffler an it toned it down nicely. I still had drone in the 2.5K range but having a 6mt allowed me to avoid it when needed. It's really a trial and error thing.
