Hey guys,

I was wondering how to get a nice "roar" when the car starts. Kind of like the G35 but maybe a little louder. I saw Ubond's thread about his Magnaflow tips and resonator. I was wondering, is the resonator what brings about the sound? If so, can I purchase a resonator alone and leave the mid-muffler and stock tips on the vehicle? How do I go about getting that "roar"?

Have you listened to the comptech system?

Goto Youtube, search for Acura TL Comptech - it's the 3g 04 TL; it sounds sweet but my concern is a drone on the freeway..

 

Check the GReddy exhaust thread, put your name on the list!

 

Is CompTech the only one that makes a full exhaust for the TL? Is eveyone just doing custom piping?

 

Yeah most people probably have custom piping but GReddy is coming out with a full catback soon!

 

I still preffer the custom job before shelling out upwards of $1k

Ps. This thread is kind of old... I met up with aSPECtL06 and he got the stage 3 done at nyc muffler's... $50 I love how his sounds... he loves how mine sounds

I have the 2.5 he got the 2.25... the 2.5 is really throatier
