Exhaust question

So, for Christmas this year, I'm getting a full exhaust for my TL. Im going with the XLR8 base, with an XLR8 Jpipe. I wanted quad tips at first but then i saw this
What size tips are these, and will they fit the 04 base bumper without the Aspec kit? Aspec is next on my list btw

Pretty sure those tips are about the same size as xlr8s base catback. And yes it will fit with base aspec. If youre getting xlr8s single tip catback keep the tips, theyre sexy. Quad tips wont fit base bumper unless u get type s aspec and cut it.

go with xlr8 and keep single until you get the a-spec. Then if you still want quads, a good exhaust shop should be able to fab you a nice dual tips from 2.25" pipes that will fit nicely in the a-spec slot. I simply went the custom route with cheap ebay mufflers with 3" duals, they were too big so we custom fitted smaller 2.25 and angled them closer and it fit perfectly. Any skilled/custom exhaust shop should be able to do it with ease w/o costing an arm/leg.

The XLR8 dual tip setup for the base TL uses 4.5" Angled Rolled Double-Walled Exhaust Tips.

Get the XLR8, the greddy tips remind me of coffee cans, and make your car look like you're trying to rice it up.
