Exhaust Options

OK, 06 TL, Mid muffler and Resignator deleted. V2 CAI. I have a couple hundred (not more) to spend. anyone have a good muffler option for the base tl that gives a decent sound? or better to save the money?

Thanks.

The options are endless... do you want louder? Smoother? Deeper? Aggressive/Growling? You could go Magnaflow/Borla etc/any straight through muffler for a deep smooth tone, or Flowmaster/Spintech/Hooker etc for an aggressive chambered sound. I have a Dynomax Resonator and a Flowmaster Super 10 Series then the rear mufflers are gone, no rasp, very aggressive, minimal drone.

so I did 2.25 piping from the J pipe back into 2 Magnaflow mufflers (11365 Part) and it sounds nice! little purr at idle and then when you get on it a nice grown, no drone, and with the CAI picking up the top end sound the exhaust is perfect!

Cool, glad to see you did it your own way too. While a pair of Magnaflows isn't completely out of the box, seems like everybody sticks to "Stage 3" or $1000+ catbacks.

tsudo catback exhaust...2.5" piping into 2.25" pipes for the split to the tips, still has resonator and axle back mufflers, all straight through, with no mid muffler...the tsudo website said $680, i got it for $480! pretty stoked. nice deep bass and goes good with CAI. wasnt a well known name, but works the same, besides, how much are we really expecting from a catback??
