Alright, I got a stage 3 exhaust done on my car and I love it, but I love being loud and I love my TL so I'm expecting a little more. However, I'm a broke college kid too so I was wondering what else I could do.

Has anyone tried a 3rd cat delete with a stage 3 exhaust?

 

Magnaflow mufflers maybe? Third cat wont do hardly anything.

 

If you're in college Id just pay off the car. You're not going to find much power, esp if you're an auto.

Car is already paid off, I just don't have the money to buy a $1000 exhaust. Just want something nice, but affordable.

 

Then save up and look for a greddy exhaust since you want it loud and affordable.

 

Loud is easy, remove the piping after the Jpipe. :p

 

Just get a j-pipe. Removes the 3rd cat and gives a noticeable bump in the midrange. Just removing the 3rd cat alone with yield negligible gains, its not really very restrictive.

 

J pipe, remove 3rd cat with it. then go to 2.5 piping from J pipe back, straight flow mufflers like magnaflow 11365's will give you a good sound and even better after they break in after a month.
