Pre Cat Deletes: Richie-v6 www.rv6-p.com -$275
J-Pipe: Acura TL Parts www.acuratlparts.com - $400
3rd Cat Replacement (what to get??): Richie-v6 www.rv6-p.com $65
Catback Exhaust: GReddy evo2 www.excelerateperformance.com $950(i think)

greddy has the most gains and is the loudest. it does drone but its so worth it IMO

Or you can get the v2 j-pipe and test pipe from RV6 for $399. I think they also have a combo with the precats but you have to PM him for pricing cause its not on his site.

The greddy is a sick exhaust. I heard greco's in person one day and that shit is loud but has an awesome sound. You can also get the atlp exhaust which sounds sick or the XLR8 quads but then you need to do bumper modifications.

Its ALL DIY.

I installed the RV6 J-pipe and 3rd cat delete along with the ATLP quads.
SO MANY people have said it sounds AWESOME.

I also love the AEM V2 intake.

rv6 is cheaper, but its not worth saving the $50. ATLP has a better design, better flow.

rv6 still has gains, but not as much as the ATLP

i went from rv6 -> atlp and there is a pretty decent amount difference, especially in low end torque

Everything is bolt on yes.

Really all depends if money is an issue for you or not. There are so many setups available especially if you dont care about price,.

I built my own, which probably isn't an option for you, but if you want to go that route you can shop around from local muffler shops and see what kind of pricing you get. If you get your mufflers online you would probably only have to pay labor, or at a minimum just cost for the pipes, which wouldn't be very much.

Would the TL be emissions safe with Pre-cat deletes and an OEM Third cat?

TL will not pass emissions with Pre-Cat deletes or 3rd Cat as it changes the catalytic converter. (99% of US states, not sure about Canada)

that isnt true.

as long as u dont have a check engine light, u will pass. but on the visual inspection, which no one does except dealers, u will fail probably

but in CA, ur fucked since they sniff the fumes, i dont think any other state does
