So.. i've got the comptech catback, and i couldnt be happier.... or could i??

after seeing johnny-2ks video, i noticed his car sounds bad-ass compared to mine..... and he doesnt have CATS or CAI....


so. its pretty much a solid fact, that a custom fabbed exhaust SOUNDS better... but what about performance?? is it the same as the comptech?...

ive been thinking about switching to a custom fabbed one... but i dont want to lose power... even if it is only 3hp....


what do you people think?? which one is better?

 

Custom...now sell me your comptech and call it a day

 

there aren't any actual performance gains from any aftermarket exhaust system out there today considering the fact that the stock exhaust already utilizes the perfect combination of back pressure from what I hear ... so pretty much it's just the sound difference that makes any difference at all

is 3 hp worth an extra 500-800 dollars??

 

well i already own the comptech... and i like the way it sounds.. but some of the custom fabbed exhausts i hear sound way better... .. i think ill stay with my comptech

I see u removed the amber in the head lights. Did u do this yourself? If so, would u do mine & I'd throw u some cash. I can't find any body shops out here 2 hook me up & I cant do it myself.

so the usual custom 2.5" piping+ fart can compared to the comptech wont give you the gains that comptech has?

 

i guess not.. .i dont see why not though? ya figure the open exhaust would add the power.... no mid muffler, it should be the same,, i lllooovvveeee my comptech though!!
