Excelerate Performance

Anyone else have issues withe excelerate? They sent me the wrong throttle body spacer blamed it on me had me send it back than said they cant exchange it when it was never used! Now I gotta pay for shipping to have them send it back for a part I cant even use. Bad experience overall took them 2 weeks to even ship it out the first time.

Stay away from Excelerate performance at all costs. Heel Toe automotive is a far better vendor who's values your business and knows how to run one.

Many smaller shop don't actually stock most of their inventories. they'll put in the order after you order the item. now it become waiting on both side. So if you order a wrong part and it's your fault, mostly they don't want it back, but a good business will take it back and charge you for a restocking fee since it'll sit on the shelf for months or year before it get sold.

I have done business with both. Both have been great sellers.

To the OP, we've already discussed this and taken care of it for you. As discussed though you had inadvertently ordered the wrong spacer. You ordered a 04-08 TL spacer but needed a different one due to having a J37 throttle body. Unfortunately when you shipped the spacer back it got damaged in shipping so we encouraged you to make a claim with USPS.

We then covered the cost of shipping back to you for the old spacer and the shipping of the correct spacer, and discounted it for you.

To Hi speed: I'm not sure where your comment is coming from. There must have been something at some time but we actually run a very good business, thus the reason we're still in business after 15 years and many other shops go out of business. If you'd like to send me an email to sales@excelerateperformance.com we can try to resolve your issue with us.

Excelerate & Heel Toe are great vendors, I've purchased from both of them.

If you shipped USPS, take the claim to them for the damaged part.

^ I agree. Do I have a personal preference on which vendor I purchase from? Sure, but I would never put them on blast without addressing them first

i've had great experiences with xlr8, and there's been a few times where they gave me a good deal or honored a warranty that had just expired. and they are always very responsive via email
