Excelerate Motor Mounts & PCI Compliance bearings
I had my Excelerate mounts done this past weekend. Included in the work PCI compliance bearings. The rubber on the mounts I 'm using is 62. At idle on the streets, slight rattling can be a little annoying but out on the highway with new skins on. Its as quiet as a new car. and is tight in the corners, And if I didn't drive 80 miles daily on the freeway, I would have used the factory Mounts. If your wife drivers the car or you sit in traffic, stay away from the aftermarket. But if you have a significant performance boost and never want to change the mounts again, go with Aftermarket and choose your urethane durometer wisely.
For install, I'm luckly. I've been employed by the factory for better than 28 years now. Actually my friend whom is a Techline mechanic stated the Motor Mount is 3 hour project with the correct tools and a lift. Compliance 1.5 per side.
With fresh Cooper sport tires 245/40/18 and a Hunter Alignment. THE CAR FEEL BETTER THAN EVER !!! But I'm about $2K light.
My ASPEC Coil-Overs have better than 105,000 on them, so thinking that is next.
