Dynomax resonator in winter

People with stage 3 exhaust, how does the Dynomax non-stainless steel resonator hold up after multiple winters? Is this really an issue for it to just fall off?

You would hear it leaking before it fell off, if you're that worried about salt paint the outside with high temp paint, like BBQ black, cheap and keeps it looking nice for a while, but it's probably more likely to rust from the inside out. I've had aluminized exhaust on my other car for 6 years now barely any surface rust.
