Drive train getting a much needed Facelift

OK so Im looking at doing my clutch, flywheel, slave and master cylinder. Im looking at the Aasco lightened flywheel and the Action Clutch Stage 2 kit. My question is I have a slave with the check valve deleted is there any difference between that mod and what the K-tuned Slave Cylinder is. K-Series Complete CMC & Slave Kit here is a link to the page. Just wanting to see if this would be a good pick up. It says TSX they will fit on a TL I checked

It's the same concept as what you have. When I replaced my TL's clutch I just bought a new OEM slave cylinder and did the check valve delete to it, to replace my old check valve deleted unit. I spent $1000 plus on the new clutch and flywheel whats $75?... The K-tuned one looks like it cost just as much as an OEM and would require you to reroute and maybe even extend the current slave cylinder line.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I figured that was going to be the case. Just wanted to make sure. As far as the Master Cylinder is there any merit to paying $160 for the Ktuned vs like $60 for the OEM

Holy Sh*t! After looking into your question, yes get the K-tuned Clutch Master Cylinder (CMC), The TL has the secondary diaphragm on the stock CMC! it's hard to see since they tucked it being the shock tower but it's there. Good find, I am going to have to replace mine because I have experienced some strange clutch engagement delay when shifting fast and I thought it was because I was doing something wrong I am sure it's the secondary diaphragm in the CMC.

Check it out!, it's that triangle shaped item on the end of the CMC
