Does anyone know oem 0-60 times?

I have wondered this for awhile. What are the TL'S 0-60 and quarter mile times for the 06-08 tl?

is it also true that the 04-05's were 270 horse power as opposed to 258hp in the 06-08?

1/4 mile times vary from ~14.2-14.8 depending on auto/6mt.

horsepower is the same, they just used a different method of calculating it for the new TL's.

look around in the racing section, there are plenty of time slips and info to answer your questions

All TL's 04-08 with the 3.2 liter engine put out the exact same horsepower because the engines are the same. The difference in horsepower is due to a revision on the way the horsepower is measured. The 258 number is a more realistic number when you conside what these car are putting to the wheels on a dyno stock. Type S models are 286 Flywheel horsepower stock. I'll let the other member that know better about the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times post on that.

I hope the run was free.. I'm surprised the better 60' didn't result in a faster 1/4..

what can you expect when the track is damp, and so much water in the air? everyone ran SLOW times. and it did, .3 seconds off the 60', which in better weather with NO humidity, it would of taken .6 seconds off the ET.

we are going back tomorrow but the weather doesnt look promising. it says rain

6MT Type-S 0-60 times are around 5.7 seconds to 60mph, as stated by magazine reviews. 5AT times will be slower. But, most people will not be able to match the 6MT time, as it is acheived by punishing the clutch...something most of us are reluctant to do to our cars.

Have you tried searching? All of your questions can be resolved with a simple acurazine search, even a Google search! Even the HP rating questions! This is getting ridiculous, thread closed.
