Do PCD require welding?

Hello, I am on the verge of getting either hfpc or PCD wanted to verify if PCD require welding for the install? I am doing the install with my buddy he is a mechanic but doesn't have a welder. If they require welding I will likely get HFPC instead

HFC and PCDs are both bolt ons.
why would one require welding and the other not?
they are both pipes that have flanges on them which bolt on.

why not head to the source?

Good luck with the install. And get your friend a good case of beer or something, bc that install can be a real pain!!

You will need a welder to put another resonator on when your car sounds like a civic after you put PCDs on. And youll need a welder once they crack if you get the old V1 PCDs
