DIY: Innovative engine mounts - SIDE ONLY

Well the weather was nice and sunny out.....and Innovative mounts have been sitting in my basement since a while so thought why not

What is Innovative mounts ???
SHIT LOAD of info here....
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/innovative-mounts-review-683990/
Would like to thank everybody on this above mentioned thread....

Where to buy them ???
Josh from Excelerate would be the answer

Am just doing a write up with lots of pix for the side mounts....I will install the front and the rear prolly over the weekend and ask mods to merge the threads.....

Its my first DIY write-up....here we go

First off....all the tools you would need:

Now this is how things look:

The zoomed images of the lower 2 bolts

The bolt 4 is hidden behind the ps reservoir so take it to a side

Now that you can see all the bolts in your face like DAYLIGHT....take them out....start with the ground wire bolt....

Then prep your Innovative mount by tightening the center bolt....some people usually do that at 30lb/ft....some just hand tighten them.....this is how it should look....

Now put the new mount in place....dont tighten the bolts yet....

Imaginary view for the ground wire....(i misspelled "imagine" in the picture )

Now that you have everything in place tighten the bolts and you DONE !!!!

This is how it will look:

Swing back the ps reservoir in place

I just opened the stock mount and this is how it looked

Enjoy !!!

yes it sure is simple....the side doesnt have a vac line....all it has is a ground wire bolt....make sure you apply loctite on the center bolts on the mount....i took the side off put some loctite and torqued it to 40lbs/ft.....

i havent gotten a chance to go over the other 2 yet.....will be doing it over this coming weekend.....will do a little write up there too

So if the top part is cracked...the mount is finished as I can see...I though that it was just a plastic cover...since it looks like plastic. thanks for your pics
