ill try but my camera recording sucks ass lol. But he took the 3 muff out and welded a straight pipe all for 70$, he said if i come back he will take the resonator out and replace it with a str8 pipe for 45$<really good price. And the car for sure feels faster not by much but i do feel something. And the exhuast note is pure sex now. Im affriad if i take the res out, it will be to raspy?

if you take the res out then yes it will be raspy. i had it done on mine and it sounded like a civic

^ I'll second that. I'm running the 3rd muffler and stock res delete and there is a pretty significant rasp, especially at 2500 rpm. Swapping the stock res for the magnaflow (stage 2) or dynomax (stage 3) resonators seems pretty popular if you wanted to try that. There's threads with sounds clips, model #s, etc.

^ i had a test pipe put in along with the deleted mid-muffler and res, now it sounds better. the rasp is still there but at a higher RPM. but at full throttle the car sounds like a fricken beast!

Im just curious on how does it sound when taking off from a stop and riding the speed limit around 2500-3500 rpm? Is it noticeably loud from the inside of the car? and outside (I hope it doesnt sound like a civic)? There aren't a lot of videos of guys driving with the mid-muffler removed...if you had to compare the sound to anything would it sound better/worse/same as a G35 or more ricey?

no the 3rd muffler, and are those welds really that bad, does it affect performance? And well it actually sounds the same when higher in the rpm, but at lower rpms the car sounds more like a g35. But i want more loudness. What if i take the cat out?

You could take it out. I did and it sounds pretty good but like greco said get a real exhaust system. Your going to be a lot happier. I'm done chopping shit out, trying to save up for ATLP base exhaust

I don't think you should be doing a mid-muffler delete with performance intentions in mind.

Don't take your cat out; just replace it with a flanged straight pipe or high-flow cat from ATLP/RV6. You're gonna regret it when you have to return the car to stock when you sell it.

i told you....buy a real exhaust. modifying the stock exhaust is ONLY FOR SOUND, 0 performance gains

I don't think you're losing performance, you should be gaining approx. 1 HP assuming that the delete deletes 5-15 LB good. The ECU needs to adjust probably so wait a week and probably due to the backpressure of the exhaust since you increased airflow of 1 system, and kept the same on others. That is why you feel the "decrease of feel". Correct me if I'm wrong... To fully utilize the mid-muff and everything you need j-pipe and catback exhaust just like everyone else says. But you didn't decrease your performance by removing your mid-muffler, I believe. Does it sound like a G35 sound?

the main gain that comes from a catback exhaust, is because the piping is 2.5", not 2.25"(stock)
