The pic below shows the water hose routing to prevent hot water circulation thru the throttle body. The green line highlights how the hose is looping back.

The pic below is showing the air filter (AEM DryFlow) viewed thru the front grill. This view is viewed level at the same hight as the air duct.

The pic below is showing the filter when viewed from laying close to the ground and looking slightly upward into the aire duct.
I did some reading from previous post on this forum regarding moving the IAT sensor. According to those previous post, moving it seems to have little effect. But, I might try moving it sometime later just to see.

In addition to being dead weight, the covers trap heat. After removing the covers, it seems that my air conditioner cools better from the improved air circulation and less trapped heat under the hood.

By the way, I also removed the panels from under the engine and transmission. This really opens things up to improved air flow.
Sure, someone could use the agruement that the lower panels are there for improved aerodynamics. But, for me, I don't like high speeds (I do like quickness although). I would rather have the improved cooling to keep the engine happy for better accelaration than the aero for high speed..... "Speed kills"

I dont think anyone really cares if the cover is on or off. I took mine off after I visited Hondata and Doug told me that it would help keep the engine bay a little cooler.
Here is a link that is dedicated to discussing the pros and cons to moving the IAT sensor.
Be warned that some people called the IAT sensor as a O2 (oxygen) sensor. It is *not* an oxygen sensor. It is an Intake Air Temperature sensor.

Found this pic. Thanks goes to HEK for providing this pic.
I have a question... Can anyone that has a polished AEM dry flow CAI for their TL tell me the part number that is on the sticker that is on the intake unit? I kow this is an odd question but mine does not seem to fit 100%. I'm wondering if I possible recieved an Accord intake. Any help would be wonderful.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Not sure but it actually says part no...
yeah i have the same part number on my cai in my 05 i bought the car with it in there. researching it i cant find it in aem so i think its older and out of date, but mine deffinately fits. its not typical though, (reciting from memory) runs out of the intake, around the radiator hoses, and under the battery. somehow mounted to a scoop in the grill on the bottom driver side.
so I noticed in the pics above that with the engine covers removed that there is no heat-shield insulation on the hood either. Have you noticed any issues with the hood paint due to heat? Also, with the underbody shields removed, any impact on road noise or engine bay cleanliness?

Removing my underbody panels did not increase noise in the cabin in the slightest to me. Having them removed did not cause issues with cleanliness. However, I primarily drive on clean roads.

What makes this thread (linked below) so great is that the OP actually did some timed runs (not just buttdyno). And againstallodds1 used a g-timer to compared the IAT locations.
