Delte Cats

Hi,

i've read a couple of threads regarding mod but i'm a bit new and don't know much about all names of parts and so on.

Just want some help on how to remove my precat and the third Cat and what are the parts i need. Is it bolt on?
I don't want the car to be loud...just a bit so no cops will arrest me. and of course i believe i can gain a bit hosepower?
i want to keep the noise not too high, i can use my old muffler right?
will i be able to remove my check engine from the dash? how?
and is there a dyno test to do?

links and pix where to buy would be great.

thank you

you can order the RV6 package or seperate pieces (Pre-cats, jpipe, racepipe 3rd cat) from http://r-.ecrater.com/

hp gains are listed on the site under each product. As far as cops bugging you there is no guarantee..with a stock catback you really wont be able to tell sound wise. But you will see noticeable gains and the pre-cats come with defoulers to eliminate a check engine light going on. and everything is bolt up.

there are a TON of threads on this subject. hope this helps. search next time buddy ! lol

+1 on using search tool

but yeahs the pre-cats and 3rd cat delete are bolt on and good gain mods, i've heard a precat+j-pipe+test pipe(3rd cat) combo with a stock exhaust and it sounds pretty throaty, louder than stock for sure.

if you get a 3rd cat and dont want to be too loud then i suppose you should go for the test pipe becuz its resonated

also with pre-cats you get fumes that you can smell and you might not pass emissions if you go catless

yea maryland is easy you can pass with no cats whatsoever as long as there is no CEL, they don't do sniffer tests on newer cars. The other half of the time just slip the techy a 20 and your good to go lol
