Custom exhaust with pcd's, jpipe, test pipe?

Does anybody have a custom set up with all cats removed? I would like to hear what a set up like this sounds like.

I too have Rasp! Difference is, I have the HFPCs and v3 Jpipe, and after hearing JnS's sound clip, mine sounds EXACT. Kind of makes me wish I went with the PCDs
Anyway, to the OP, there are TONS of exhaust sound clips (just search) The best setup in most peoples opinion is RV6 PCD's and Jpipe with the RV6 True Dual Exhaust. Two guys have vids with sound. Heres one to get your mouth watering.

^You're two-thirds the way there justn. You might as well just wait for the second batch of rv6s. If/when that happens.

im currently running catless pcd v2 and j pipe v3 richies and custom j pipe back, 2.5" to a 24" resonator to a Y with 2.25" to some magnaflow's. Its to quiet for me, could be perfect to some. im cutting out the whole 2.5" and resonator and putting 3" w/o a resonator on the 10th. Its really deep and sounds good just to quiet for me, im still young lol. im hoping the 3" will living it up some.

After hearing Justin's videos I'm even more scared to do PCD's with my exhaust. I have rasp on hard acceleration with only the 3rd cat gone. My exhaust is incredibly loud so with PCD's I'd have to chop it up and put a resonator on.

and TLoveit it's pretty crazy to me that your rasp is the same as someone with PCD's. Maybe it just sounds that way because its a video online? I was hoping HFPC wouldnt be raspy

just the pcd's wont give you tooo much rasp...i have pcd's v2 and stock jpipe/3rd cat/exhaust and NO RASP (a little bit of drone at 3K rpm)....and the exhaust sounds good....

its when you open up the exhaust you will have to loud sound and need the resonators to quite it up...

see justins video....he has pcd's/jpipe/3rd cat delete and his setup is louder than mine (with only pcd's)....you catching my drift ?

Actually....yes the 2 could be pretty constrictive....

I was thinking of going 2" but stock itself is 2.25" and PCD's are 2.25" and hence thought 2" would be very small....

While looking into 2.5" i saw that most of the aftermarket exhaust are 2.5" all the way back....have 2x2.5" pipes would slow the exhaust pulses down considerably and I would have to be at higher rpm all the time to make full use of the exhaust....

2.25" seemed perfect....they will match with the PCD's (i know that sounds lame but imagine the exhaust pulse coming from the PCD's into an already smaller exhaust)....and it wont be too big....

i read multiple websites and also heard what some people here have got to say about it....here is the thread with a little more info:

IDK if it's the video, but I def have got the good ole rasp from 3-4k rpm. Some people with the same setup don't. I spoke to Richie and he said for whatever reason, sometimes with the HFPCs and Jpipe you WILL get it. Hoping to put a resonated cat-back on next week. I'll take some video, but I have to figure out how to post them.

got my exhaust redone, v2 pcd's v3 jpipe and custom bat back. 3" from jpipe to a Y where it goes to 2.25" to two short base magnaflows, it sounds really deep without being to loud till about 2600-2700rpm's then start to get a slight rasp to it. When you punch it sound deep with a little rasp but i still love it under 2600-2700 rpm's, which i drive it the whole time anyhow. im going to get to get a video up tonight but it probably wont happen till tomorrow.

I couldnt tell a diffence cutting out the resonator and putting 3" Cat back to Y. But I could tell a huge diffence when I did pcd's and jpipe. Didn't get a chance to make a video, will try again tomorrow. I love the sound of it tho, well for the most part not so much up top.

Sonnick that sounds sick.

I have short term memory loss accoompanied by add so I must have forgotten I posted so many exhaust threads.

Anyway if anybody is still paying attention, I feel like my exhaust is restricted too much by the custom mid muffler which is after the custom resonator. I just dont feel the performance anymore. So I guess I am sol. I am deffinately not spending 4-7k on FI....
