Custom Cold Air Intake

My friends at TopSpeed Pro 1 made me a custom intake for my TL because my OEM intake rubber was breaking off. At first they was going to replace the rubber with a metal tube, but we got a crazy idea so we decided to make our own CAI. We had the tubes and pipe, so we just put a K&N air filter to it. All this cost $0 to me because we were testing it. After a few measurement, it fits right in! So if you guys have tube and the right parts, you can easily make your own!

You be the judge of the sound =P

Granted you are less likely to induct water that air intake actually causes a reduction in power given all the hot air its pulling from the engine bay... Nice sound tho... I'm planning on switching mine from the setup you have now to a proper cold air intake in the summer....

I plan to extend the 45" angle more toward the bottom to get better air.

Still it's only considered a SRI rather than a custom CAI. I would bet that your IAT temps will be high with that set up and bogging issues will occur.

^ I was about to say that; it looks more like a SRI. Sounds nice though.

extend that pipe to get cooler air, your just suckin in hot engine heat, the stock setup was prolly better than this one.

Sounds good tho
