You are the closest to Comptech being that you actually know them....and are the most likely to be able to give good acurate information regarding fixes, tweaks, ect. - most of us are like 1000 miles away...so the info you feed us, in my opinion, is about the best info we have as to the direction of the jerking issue, ect. I am really concerned about this jerking issue and exactly when it occurs, under what conditions, between gears, ect...or just through a certain RPM range, ect. I cant be out taking clients out to lunch during the day and have my car jerking all funky like....and wondering if this would also occur in the automatic install. Daily driveabily is very important to me. Dont want to turn my car into a weekend car only...but really do want to SC it if I can...really want the power gain.

There was a number of people who asked who could install this setup. If you're in the Northeast we can do it. We offer installation services on all products that we sell: Cold Air Intakes, Exhausts, Springs, Brakes, Superchargers, and even Engine Swaps. Also, for those of you who are interested in this Comptech Supercharger Setup I have a sale going on them: Comptech Supercharger Kit Groupbuy

If the Comptech weenies knew what they were doing they would offer the SC with Megasquirt and a Aquamist. Because Honda had a brain fart when designing the exhaust manifolds the car cannot easily be adapted for a turbo, which is the "day" in night-&-day compared to SC's.

Its probably because of the complex exhaust system (with all the cats) that makes it difficult for a turbo. I would honestly rather have a turbo available but the Eaton blower works well with alot of applications. Hence the Pontiac GTP and the Mustang SVT Cobra being so cheap to mod to get some serious horsepower.

Does Comptech have any plans of releasing smaller pulleys or intercooler systems for their kit? I have no intention of spending $4,500 for 65 whp and no upgradability. $69/whp is high enough as it is. That kind of price tag should be putting out at least 100 whp. We'll see what they do because RIPP will mop the floor with Comptech if they don't figure something out soon.

But with the extra torque you'll also need a new clutch and Tien EDFC (or similar tuned suspension) to get adequate traction. If you're getting it installed you're looking at approx $7500 for all that gear.
So to do it right your looking at a much higher $$$/hp and $$$/tq than $69/hp.

There's no need for additional fuel injection control (beyond the ACM) and methanol/water injection would help lower IAT and thus increase ignition timing but again that too is not required to make consistent reliable power.
