Cold Air Intake & Tune

Buying the XLR8 exhaust and j-pipe, now going for a cold air intake. I know you need a tune for an intake but I dont know if there is a specific tune to get for an intake.

No tune is necessary. There's a lot of people on here running no tunes with jpipes, intakes, ect. I have a Jpipe and CAI on my six speed and everything is good

Honestly once you get full exhaust and intake installed Flash Pro is the way to go. Any time you put on aftermarket parts a re flash of the ECU would allow you to get the most out of the those parts. And if your considering doing even more to it then you will have the necessary equipment to do so.

Flashpro's great, but without knowing the year/trans of OP's car, we don't know if it'll work. If it's an '04-06 5AT, it's a no go.

I have an 06' Tl automatic 5-speed with the nav. So i think the flashpro is probably a no go.
