Cleaning an aftermarket intake filter

I was thinking about getting an aftermarket intake. I know you have to take the bumper off to put the intake on But wanted to know if you had to take off the bumber everytime you want to clean the filter.

you can get away with not taking the bumper off for the install, but to answer your question specifically you dont have to remove the bumper to clean the filter element. The purpose of taking off the bumper for the install was to reach those pain in the ass bolts up towards the front of the car...with the aftermarket cold air filter placement all you need to do is remove the driver side tire and then pull back the splash guards...that will allow you to have access to the clamp holding the element onto the intake tube.

Can you turn your wheel all the way to one side or do you have to take the whole wheel off.

you can probably do that...i havent tried. i would assume that would work if you have a screwdriver small enough to clear the tight space created by leaving the wheel on.
