Always amuses me when I do that... It was almost a powershift but I try not to hammer on the car that bad.

I can't wait for the Injen CAI, then I will hit the track.

do you just slam it on third? , i have been babying my car but have an itch to try....

 

I shift it real fast and barely let up on the clutch. Its' abusive on the car.

Are you on LS2? Just asking, since you seem to be into the F-body LS1. Nice numbers, but what's up with A3 in your signature? Did you change the the transmission?

 

Just curious how you manage to chirp on 3rd gear driving 5AT?

I've been chirping 3rd a bunch lately, but I think it because I'm still on the 'greasy' EL-42's. I'm really not even trying when I do it.

What i really like to do is when I'm next to some kid at a light. I usually take off real easy, and get 1/2 way through the intersection, and then just nail it and light them up from a roll.

 

Yah if I had drag radials I would have a very hard time chirping 3rd.

Have you put your CAI on? If so, any chance you've taken it to the track?

 

I have not put the Injen CAI into the 6MT and taken it to the track, but I will hopefully in the next month.

I've been racing the red 98 Formula in my avatar, just went 9.61@144.67mph with it.

 

I like my Auto chirping on start on dry asphalt.
