Cat delete pipe?

I was wondering if I could install a xlr8 delete pipe onto the stock exhaust? And does that mod alone make good hps? Or the exhaust louder?

The cat delete produces roughly 13-18 whp. It will make the exhaust not slight deeper And yes u can install it w ur stock exhaust and jpipe.

It sounds like ur not to familiar with the car, so float around the performance section and catch urslef up to date. Pretty much all questions have been answered on the site.

Don't do it without exhaust mods. Little if any change on a stock exhaust, I would be suprised if anyone could tell.

Yes it can fit the stock exhaust and j-pipe. It will probably free up 3-5 HP. The exhaust will get slightly louder. If you want more power get our j-pipe too.

I would do it, its a starting point, like Excelerate said it will at least make it a bit louder. Hey if anything your engine with breathe easier!

Good point - it is a start.

OTOH - saving for a J-pipe/Race pipe or RV6 Gen 3 pipe would be a better start.

(I know, I hate "saving" because that means "waiting", but in this case, I really think it would be worth it.)

^i'll back up what bearcat said....
its not worth getting the race pipe to replace the 3rd cat.

buy the rv6 v3 jpipe, which has longer primaries which deletes the third cat already.
you get two in one
