Well, for the base TL, like yours, you can get the ATLP Base Exhaust, which is very sexy looking with its square tips. Or you can go the route of XLr8, which has round tips, and comes in both resonated and non resonated forms. That too is a well crafted exhaust.

If you want pure loud roar, Greddy is your man, or if you want pure quiet, the Tanabe Medallion or Comptech are the ones you may want to look into. Both of these utilize a mid muffler like our stock exhausts.

In terms of loudness, i THINK this is the heirarchy, from quiet to loud

Tanabe / Comptech (QUIET)
XLR8 Resonated
ATLP Base
XLR8 Non Resonated
Greddy (LOUD)

Hope this helps.

Also try the search. Some people have posted vids of various exhausts.

Really does depend on which one you want to get.

http://www.excelerateperformance.com/

and

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/

Our two local vendors that will definitely guide you in the right direction. HeelToe carries ATLP exclusively and Excelerate carries, well, XLR8 lol

I think Greddy is the cheapest, but it is LOUD, hahahaha. Not something everyone wants.

Unfortunately you just missed the group buy for XLR8 cat-backs. I forget what the base was running, but my TL-S resonated was $890. His are actually made by Billy Boat, which is a good thing...

You get someone to fab it up for you. You pick the mufflers that you want and get the piping custom bent for your car.

easier just to buy one. plus you can hear sound clips on youtube or in person if you know someone that has it before you get it.

i'm on the GB for the XLR8 Exhaust. cant wait to get that thing on! sounds sooooooooooooo good.
