Just curious if anyone knows what & where they are. I'm curious about the heads on my car, I bought it as a CPO from an Acura Dealer back in late '07 with 45k miles on it and only recently realized it has valve covers off an 07/08 on it already.

The 07/08 has the spot for the heat shield by cylinder #5 whereas the 04-06 doesn't. Which makes me curious if they replaced the heads at some point before I had purchased it or just the valve covers, which wouldn't make sense since the originals are the factory grey color.

Would like to be able to ID which heads are on the car.

Car is an '05.

Are there different casting numbers for 04-06, 07-08 & 07-08 Type-S?

there are casting marks on the head RCA is athe accord/3.2 base TL. I have Type-S heads and they are a different number RJA I don't remember.

Finally got around to checking, here's what mine looks like.

Looks like:

CAPT
RDJI4

Block mark is J32A3, as I was expecting.

duno what that is, thought maybe that was the normal casting mark for the j32a3 and just thought I'd update it

It should say RCA

Can anyone else with 04-06 TL check the casting mark on their heads to verify?
