Calling all honda part number experts to help!

I have a build I am doing that I need some expert help with. It doesn't directly have to do a 3rd gen TL but in a way it does. I am wondering if there is any difference between the rear diff on a acura TL-SH AWD between the auto and the manual transmission. The final drives are different on each transmission so I would think that the differentials have to be different.

Auto is: 4.533 final drive
Manuel: 3.842 final drive

With I different final drive they must have different rear differentials but both have the same part number:
41200-RWG-080

Then I thought they have different transfer cases but they have the same part number:
29000-RK4-000

Then I thought well maybe they have different output drive gears to the transfer case but they don't. Both are:
29200-RYF-000

So do I just not have an understanding of how this should work? How can the auto and manual have different final drive ratio's yet use the same rear diff? This would mean the front and rear wheels would travel different speeds and the rear diff would burn itself out fast.

What am I missing here? Does the final drive gear ratio not matter?

So here is the 3g TL question. Are the bell housings the same on the J35a8 motor and the J37 motors? Meaning could you bolt a transmission from a J37 to a J35a8?

I doubt the bell housing is the same.
they even changed it in the 3rd gen TL lifespan... 04-06 has one pattern, and the 07-08's have a different pattern.

also, the k23 turbo engine from the RDX has a completely different bell housing than any non shawd cars.

yes, but Is that wider bolt pattern the same on the 07+ TL's?

well, maybe you should explain your goals and aspirations. why are you looking for this information?
it would help us help you if you spelled out what you're trying to do.

wider bolt pattern from what?!

first off, why would the differential be different between auto and manual?
final drive has to do with the gearing INSIDE the transmission. final drive only determines what rpm the engine will be turning at relative to the wheel rotation. Not sure why you thought it makes a difference, the differential is only spun by the transmission, and the gearing is irrelevant.

You are correct. Final drive determines the RPM the engine will be turning relative to wheel rotation, and you need the front wheels to be turning the same speed as the rear wheels. So if the final drives are different then how can you have the same rear diff gearing? I think I may have found my answer. Inside the transmission the two cars have different part numbers for what is called the transfer gear which proves power to the transfer case. What they are doing is putting in a different transfer gear that makes the gear ratio the same on both cars so they can use a rear diff. Not what is crazy is that the auto has another gear to make this ratio possible while the manual doesn't. This makes me think that the rear diff ratio is the same as what they ended up going with as the final drive on the manual transmission. I will post some pics later.

I don't like to talk about things until I am usually farther along in the process. I don't want to be one of those all talk, never does kind of guys, but I am trying to put the awd platform in a civic. I have built my own car from scratch before so this will be easy for me to do for those that are saying: "good luck" and "imagine the fabrication". To give you an idea my home built car was SUPER technical as I have fabricated my own knuckles and arm geometry and built an entire frame from nothing. I don't' expect you to read my built thread but if you are interested:
