I love the sound and look of the exhaust on my car, but recently I've been noticing rust on the inside of the muffler. As you know, the Greddy mufflers point slightly at an upward angle which can allow water from rain/carwashes to sit in the dips of the inside of the exhaust causing it to rust. The rust that I can see is about 3-5 inches into the muffler from the tip (possibly where the tip is connected to the can) and I can see it while standing up without bending down to look at it from about 10-15 feet away. It bugs the hell out of me because little do I know there is more rust further down the exhaust to the y-pipe. Plus it just looks bad. I don't have pics of it right now, but I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you suggest to do to fix it. I even considered revving the exhaust in the garage after I get home from the pouring rain to spit all the water out, but I don't want to annoy the neighbors...
