Cai In The Winter?

Should I just wait to install my CAI in the spring or will I have no issues with it in the winter??

It will not matter whether you install it in the winter or the spring. water is the only thing that really hurts if you have a CAI. You can get that during both the spring and the winter.

I've had my AEM all winter long .. heavy snowstorms... rain .. etc. No issues.

Best $200 I've spent on this car to date.

Winter time is when you can truly get the most out of the intake. Plus the sound just roars with the cold air. It's addicting.

Get it done asap.

I found that when it was like -30degC (-22degF), if I used my remote start, the car could run for a long time and you'd still be climbing into a cold f'n car, the engine not being able to warm up. But I agree, the CAI is addicting!

I totally agree here, the car benefits so much with the Winter air vs the Summer warm air...

Just got mine in today, going to install on the weekend

Will I have an issue if i drive through a massive puddle? California isn't designed to handle the rain very well, so if it rains hard there's usually some minor flooding in some areas...
