CAI tune required?

2005 6MT. Will I need to tune the ECU on these models if I install an aftermarket CAI?

short answer; no.

long answer; our cars come with a cold air intake system stock...if replacing it with an AEM or other branded manufactured tube, there wont be any gains...
now if upgrading to a 4 inch intake tube, a tune would benefit you.

Yeah, a tune for an engine running a 4" intake tube, aka, SRI, aka, hot air intake, will limit the power losses.
