imo, you're comparing apples and oranges, mainly b/c of such a huge price difference. If money isn't an issue, go w/ the procats for big gains. If you want minimal gains, but a good sound when you're in the 3000+ RPM range, go CAI.

^^^^

The cats are going to give a better power gain. The sweet thing is, most anyone that looks at it won't realize you have anything done to the car. Do the intake mod on the stock box with a K&N filter in it, and you have some good gains and still look completly stock.

Then there is that lovely CAI sound!!! Yea Baby, its just so sweet!!! Some may not like it, but theres nothing like having the windows down and laying into it and hearing the intake, well other then the sound of a turbo spooling, but we don't have that option "yet" . Good luck.

may i ask what the intake mod on the stock box is? is it just K&N filter or actually changing the stockbox?

Eshift pro cats are an aftermarket replacement for your factory cats

So, these are catalytic converters? I was briefly involved in another thread, which is now closed. Does anyone have pics of them installed? Thanks.

Depends on your money supply...taking about a wide range here....$200 or $1100? I say if you got the funds...go big now...cause you can always come up with $200 sometime later.

Nah...
Spercharger is $4G, plus a hefty install cost, more gas used. It's really extreme excpet for thsose going all out, and with a lot disposable income.

Might as well get the CAI, the pro-cats aren't available now. I paid for my e-shift pro cats over a month ago... They're not here yet. Excelerate can't give me an ETA.

Apparently there's a sourcing problem. Whatever.
Pissed.

From the bottom of the intake box comes a tube that runs up right infront of the battery. You remove the tubing so that air go directly into the box from the infender area. This takes out some of the bending tube that comes from the factory. Pretty easy to do and gives a little gain with the K&N.
