CAI install, relocating ground wire...

When I installed my CAI, I didn't relocate the ground wire. Instead, I removed the bolt that held the ground wire and just installed the vibramount there, holding both the ground wire and vibramount in the same spot.

Was that a bad idea?

It's there for a reason though; otherwise, Acura wouldn't even bother putting it there in the first place.

Almost every piece of metal on the car is ground. I don't think it should matter.

It would matter if there was paint between the bolt and ground wire though.

it will only matter when you get struck by lighting... almost never happens... and damn we will watch you on the news... a 5min fix could save your life... j/p

it is all the same dude... but when you rotate your tires... take those 5min to move the ground wire forward kk
