CAI help!

So i am thinking about installing an cold air intake on my 05 TL and i was wondering since it goes behind the wheel liner close to the ground could it possibly pick up water on rainy days? And what is the best CAI to get?

They dont do much other than make noise. Just remove the resonator and do the DIY CAI. Save that money for mods that are worthwhile.

But to answer your question, I wouldnt worry about water unless you are driving through deep puddles.

This link is for the FAQ garage. Section B will answer just about any question you may have about CAI. As for which is the best? They are all going to do the exact same thing. Some will just soak you for more money than others.

Mine dips down infront of the wheel well like your saying. I hit a deep puddle during one hell of a thunderstorm. I mean a DEEP puddle, and my check engine light started flashing. I threw the car into neutral and had it towed to the acura dealer.

Turns out I sucked water, but nothing terrible. Full diagnostic on the motor showed it was perfectly healthy.
Hyrdo sheilds are scams.
