Cai Growl - Injen Or Aem

Chances are this has already been covered in previous threads but.. Those of you with the Injen CAI intake - Do you like the Growl it makes? It doesnt make it sound ricey does it? I want a deep airy sound - which is better as far as sound goes? TL's are allready somewhat throaty in the high end RPM's, but I want it in the lower as well.. THOUGHTS?

lol..you mean Fujita right?

But yes I agree. All of the CAI sound pretty alike, I mean all they are is a pipe connected to a filter. Doesnt sound ricey at all, People ussually prefer the AEM sound because its apparently supposed to be the loudest.

Listening to the tapes the injen sounds nice too. Cept most of the videos on youtube are from Type S's or from someone with exhaust. Sucks you cant here them all in person.. Basically, Fujita for high end sound and torque, AEM for low end..?

I think im gonna go for Fujita..

Heres your best bet....

Find some fellow Acurazine members that live near by that have a CAI and go listen for yourself.... I'm sure we have plenty of members in the Pensacola area

They all have similar sounds. AEM has the largest tubing and is generally the most popular intake.

I have the AEM or Injen CAI for $250 shipped. The bypass valve is unnecessary and there isn't even one for the TL intake. Unless you're driving in 2-3 ft of water and submerging your front bumper in water you're not going to suck up water.

I have the Injen on my TL. I've never heard the AEM, but this thing sounds like a monster. No regrets.
