Cai Gains On Tl?

I know there are many posts on this, but I dont see any reviews or opinions if putting a CAI on will give you any noticable gains? I had one on my Titan and it seemed to just make it louder when you got into the gas.

I guess my question is on a v6 can you feel a real difference? I just bought a 08' silver and wondered if I can get any extra pep.

Welcome to the forums! Since your relatively new, let me be the first to say to use the "search" feature. There are countless threads on this topic. If you look up some of the vendors on this site like excelerate or mr.heeltoe, they posted information which should be able to answer your question. short answer- yes.

I ordered my AEM last week and it should be here tomorrow or Tuesday.. I know it makes a nice sound, and from what i've read the power gain is fairly nice for such a simple mod..

Welcome. There are some dyno before and after posts around here. Seem to be Ok gains, just enough to notice I guess. And the sound.

But I say save yourself $250, get an AEM or Injen Sticker. The sticker itself is worth 20 WHP.

The CAI from AEM or Fujita gets you anywhere form 6 to 8 HP. Not bad for a $125 part and about 2 hours of your own time in labor.

Yeah I think I've raced someone with just an Injen intake, I believe he was A/T as well, then again I'm not sure. But anyway he pulled me slightly and I'm stock. So I guess it makes a difference.

11.0:1 for the '07.

91 Octane minimum. You can search "Octane" or "Premium Gas" for all the reasons why and the cost-benefit of doing so.
