Cai

Just finished the Stage 2 install on my '07 Accord V6. My K&N CAI came in today and I'm contemplating leaving it as an SRI. My fear is water intrusion and other elemets. (ice, snow, heat, cold etc.)

My question is how does the hot air adversely effect the perfromance of the SRI vs. running the true CAI full install.

Thoughts?

Thanks

From what I've the performance gains arent as good but it's alot louder

I think me personally would get the SRI over CAI for the same reason(weather)

where do you live? If you're in like Staten Island where it floods alot in heavy rain, then consider the SRI. However, being from Jersey, we get good amounts of rain here, and i've just played it smart. If the water looks too high, it is. Just find ways around everything. Also, the AEM sits a little higher than the Injen.

People have made custom setups as well, wonder how those are like?

I have the fujita cai... filter rests just where the fog light connection is... the only way it could suck water is if I drive directly over a deep puddle...
