Broken flex pipe on J-Pipe

I'm about to buy a j pipe with a broken flex pipe from being lowered. Should I be fine by having another flex pipe installed?

Steel is steel, Just have a shop weld one in if you cant or dont have a welder... buy stainless.

^ Thanks I've read of people just replacing the flex sections on exhaust, just wasnt sure if it would have a negative impact on the flow.

So I'm probably going to bite the bullet on the J pipe, and get rid of the primary cat with a race pipe, I wonder how this set up is going sound.....

It didnt make much of a difference. i had the 3rd muffler delete, 3rd cat delete and j pipe and it did make it sound a little louder but i had to have my window down to really notice it. from the outside it sounded bad ass! Almost like it came stock sounding that good! Should have been made like that!
