I have just purchased a 07 type s and was wondering what modifications will have the best impact on overall performance without sacrificing drive-ability. Also important is affordability. Is it worth it to change the cold air intake to an aftermarket system?

 

hmm, do you have a cold air intake already?

You can start with an exhaust or J-Pipe if you already have the CAI.

 

intake, exhaust, pre-cat delete will be the start

 

use the search function....there are countless threads asking similar questions.

Powerwise: intake, and the exhaust mods.

Suspension: springs, and shocks, maybe sway bars.


The intake isnt worth much power, but it adds a nice growl to the car.
