It should be pretty much just adapting some brackets other than that its very simple. Why don't you try it yourself, you can save the money for another mod. You will need to buy a brake bleeding kit and the necessary sockets to get the factory kit off if you don't have them. I always change my brakes and oil, which saves me a decent amount of money! Just an option...

I wouldn't diy for brakes, especially if you haven't worked with them before. they're just too crucial to risk it.

Personally, I'd do most of the work and have someone help me bleed the brakes. Brakes appear hard to do, but they really are not. Bleeding in my opinion is probably harder to do by yourself.

install is rather simple, plug and play.... but bleeding the lines is the tricky part... you could get a vacuum bleeder, but you kinda want somebody to watch fluid levels while the other person pumps the brakes

I imagine that this install is something I could manage but I have not done any prior brake work and this isnt an area of the car that you want to say Ill give it a whirl. I also lack a garage to work out of and its snowny and fridge too so my plan was to find an experienced machanic that is willing to let me watch and help out so I can learn how its done.

BukvaMan - I got "Fastbrakes 12.76" 4 piston kit , 04-08 UA6 Acura TL Non-Brembo, TL-12-4DL" Cost $725 I paid $688.75 after entering the "acurazinerocks" coupon at Heeltoe which is a good place to order from.

all around or just fronts? did u mean 2 piece rotors?

I'm interested in a Wilwood setup for all 4 wheels. Anyone know if they offer anything that will fit? I wanted 12.76's up front but dont know what works in the rear.

In order for you to put a 6piston in ur front wilwood told me $2k since they'd have to purchase a manual/tl-s knuckle and fab the bracket for it

For the rear, there is a rotora mini 4pot I believe, excelerate would know more

Fastbrakes has a few different options using Wilwood calipers. It is an inexpensive kit that will definitely improve braking; the only con I have found is caliper clearance with the wheels.

ROTORA offers a few different front kits and two rear kits. The front kits is 13" 1 pc, 2pc, or 14" 2pc. All the kits come with a 4 piston caliper. Rear kit is 2 pc 13" with 2 or 4 piston calipers.
