Autozone intake?

Where is our MAF sensor? I wanna go to autozone and build my own intake using the pipes they have there because my car feels like it lost power with the DIY intake resonator in 3rd gear...

^stop making 2 threads about it.

How do you know that the intake resonator delete messed up third gear?
you dont.

calm down and go back to your other thread and discuss options there.
Ive asked you questions in your other thread that needs to be answered...BECAUSE we dont know what "falls flat on its face" means.

does it not accelerate?
do the RPMs climb?
can you hit vtec?
did you hook up all the sensors?
etc.

AND 2nd of all.
how would making your own intake be any different than what you did to the resonator box?

there isn't one. the car uses a MAP sensor and an IAT sensor. MAP is on top of the TB, and the IAT sensor is on the neck of the intake manifold for 04-06, and it's on on the manifold itself in 07-08.

oh nice i just woke up - didn't even notice yet that this kid made 2 threads. Now I have to go investigate! I was unaware that resonator deletes cause 97 whp losses and made cars fall flat on their face

it also doesnt make sense that it pulls hard in 1st and 2nd and then 3rd is no beuno...

Something else is effecting your perceived 3rd gear pull

resonator delete is perfectly fine, you will see no improvement with a home made CAI or a store bought one. investigate other possible problems.

I figured maybe something got loose in there and caused the power loss? I'm new to TL but I've had tons of modded hondas...

Like the coupler that connects the air box to the bottom pipe that leads to the velocity stack...
