Which one is better or what is different? I don't really know the difference except that one is resonated but will it bring the tone down to much? Does it change the sound too much or is it worth it? Please let me know. Thanks guys.

I just bought the ATLP base, Non-Res. I didn't know what to expect at first, since I didn't hear it in person, and I read that some people didn't like how loud it was. I got a good deal on a new one, from a member, that I just couldn't pass up on. I installed it yesterday, and love it. Everything about it, from design, to construction, to the sound. All day i drove around without the radio on listening to it. Non-res is perfect. Just my two cents.

So, no one has really said which is better. Does this mean it's based solely on personal opinion, or is there a significant difference that should be considered before purchasing? I am looking to buy an exhaust system and want to know what the best set-up is for the 3G TL... Thanks, and please consider I am a newbie..

 

all i will say is that ive been inside a TL (3.2) with the quad resonated exhaust and there was almost 0 drone. so if you do not like drone then get the resonated.

 

theres almost zero drone in the Base version.


btw I'm selling my base exhaust.

 

I have a 3.5 TLS and theres quite a bit of drone at the 2k rpm band and even more when you have more people in the car or weight in the back. I am most likely trading my res for a non res.

 

thers no drone in non resonated. the sound is perfect
