Anyone have XLR8 exhaust V2 resonated J-pipe and PCD's?

As the title states are you rockin the XLR8 v2 resonated exhaust and PCD's?

I would like to hear this and get some feedback on how it sounds. Possible video? (I've been through youtube)

I currently have xlr8 exhaust v2 resonated and xlr8 j pipe and want to add pcd's but would like to see what it this set up sounds like.

Thought welcome

Any thoughts on rasp? I'm using the resonator that comes with the XLR8 v2 now, will it be enough.

i have v3 pcds, v3 jpipe, and xlr8 quads with a magnaflow 10426 resonator.

before i installed the resonator, it was WAY too loud. would set off car alarms. the exhaust was non resonated when i bought it, and i personally think that the "resonated" versions of these exhausts is a joke, and doesn't really help much once you throw pcd's in the mix. you need something bigger and beefier to muffle the rasp that the pcd's produce.

only way around it is to install hfpc's instead of pcd's OR just weld in your own resonator like i did. sounds perfect now. ear candy.

Yea, when I was pulling the exhaust out the box I did chuckle when I saw the resonator.

I have this exact setup. 07 TL-S 6MT XLR8 resonated quads, RV6 PCDs, and RV6 Jpipe.

Here are two bad quality videos of my car that I have...

So you are running the resonator that came with the XLR8s?

Yes, that is the resonated XLR8, but like I said videos dont do it justice. Sounds very nice in person to me with a slight rasp because of PCDs, but I dont mind it at all.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice to having rasp for performance gains.

This is true, my exhaust sounds amazing now and makes the car 10x more fun to drive just don't want it to sound like dog shit.

completely understandable, have you looked into the HFPCs instead of the PCD? it may help with the rasp.

yeah pcd's will def change the sound dramatically. if performance isn't that big of a deal to you, just go with hfpc's OR leave your cats alone.

type-s cats are 600, hfpc's are 200, and pcd's are zero cell count.

up to you.

Why? Might get Hondata in 3-6 months after I see the Heeltoe results. I've pretty much depleted my fun fund and I'm in concrete work so about to stack some more $$ come March.
