Its controllable. If you go WOT you will hear it, normal driving you will still hear it, but it won't sound like your off to the races.

I don't believe any of that...

My Comptech drones like crazy around 2200 rpm. Actros had the same experience until he added the supercharger.

The Greddy setup is similar, no resonator, small mid muffler, and smaller (than comptechs) rear mufflers. Folks even elected the larger diameter tubing, for 5 more HP, but it's louder and has more drone... Even Greddy performance has stated it's there.

I'm OK with my Comptech's drone, cause I got a SC to install sometime soon, and that should kill it... but I think some folks are gonna loose thier mind when they expereince the drone machine they just created by installing this exhaust.

I've considered buying one to try out, hell I could resell it at cost for sure once the GB is over.

We'll see.

Couldn't someone go in and put in there own resonator if the drone was to bad? I know it would defeat the purpose of buying the exhaust in a way, but atleast it would kill the drone.

Would you all think there'll be the same of amount of drone if I went "Stage 2" exhaust vs. Greddy's??

Sure you could, but there go those great cost savings, increased performance, and clean shiny pipes...

I like my Comptech, but it is droney. No way it's not gonna be "not noticeale".

Some folks tolerance for noise is different that others...

Not at all what I said. Stated "normal driving you will still hear it, but it won't sound like your off to the races."

Yes you'll hear it, I've been in a TL with Comptech, and yes it does drone as you say at 2k-3k but its controllable to an extent.
