Is the airbox supposed to seal perfectly to the silencer?

I just picked up an 07 TL base, and I noticed that the rubber coupler that connects the upper airbox to the lower silencer isn't a perfect seal. If I have someone rev the engine while i place my hand near the connection i can feel some air seeping through the coupling. Is this normal? I was thinking of putting a clamp or maybe some duct tape to prevent hot engine bay air from getting in. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think it should be doing that, but since it is before the filter it shouldnt be a problem. As far as fixing it, just take it in and have the warranty cover it
