Air-Fuel Ratio Control System

So my friend is telling me about something called a Air-Fuel Ratio control system or a Console control system. Simply, a box that will program your computer to change its air/fuel ratios and run either more or less lean according to race type. Also you can run in categories such as city, rally, drag, etc. Anyone know anythinga bout this device? I have a '04 Acura TL 6-MT. Post replies :-D.

i seen many different ways of altering A/F ratios on cars ,from modding the MAF signal, TPS , intake and coolant temp too. they install a small adjustable resistor inline with the signal that goes to the computer and could change the fuel mapping a bit. this mainly on some ford's and gm's i see in my shop, not sure what will hapen if you do this to a acura.

with the ECU on the 3G TL, each and every system is monitored in 10 different ways, so if you change 1, the other 9 will continue reading the right data and the ECU will overide the 1 change. The custom tune is trying to be figured out using the AEM F/IC with a custom harness right now, hopefully it works out
