i dont know if anyone experience this b4.. i was tryin my acceleration see and whats it got. i have a 05 5AT i step on it from first gear reach about 6000 rpm just before the car shifted i heard a loud POP ..all i know the sound came from the intake. has anyone with a v2 experience this? i checked everything even the vibrating mount it was fine...

 

I'm curious also because I'm interest in the same intake. Any comments please....

 

No, that is not what happened for me. But I don't think your problem is with the vibrator mount. The sound should be like a quick sucking sound.

 

Perhaps some backfire? Pop being like a gunshot?
