AEM V2 Intake

I was reading though O.G's intake thread, and accuratin mentioned that the aem V2 of the 03+ V6 accord's may fit on the TL.

I don't have any intake right now, but I'd rather get a V2 over an CAI.

From the looks, it seems that the last portion of the V2 just ends, whereas the TL Cai extends down further. I'm sure that it follows the same path the TL does close enough for it to fit with minor adjustments.

Also, the on the AEM site, the part where they explain how the V2 works is down. Does anyone really know how the V2 works?

Accords AEM V2

TL CAI

So, who's volunteer's to be the guinea pig?

I was going to take the plunge and get it, but instead was going to ask MrHeelToe to compare both intakes, since he sells stuff for other cars than the TL. He helped me out witt the Cusco strut bar, so I figured that he would help us out with the intakes to.

I believe it would sit at the same position as a CAI, but a little bit higher up since it "looks" like the intake tube is a bit shorter, not positive though.

I hope it's a direct fit. If not i'm sure there's a small modification that could be performed to make it fit.

I also wonder, if we can get an intake made out of "samco" type of material tubing. Thick, durable, heat-resistant silicone type of tubing. I personally don't like the metal-pinging sound associated with aluminum tube intakes.
